In the midst of the exam season starting and coming to an end for some. If you are in need of some helpful studying techniques to get you through the exam season, you've come to the right place!
Studying techniques that actually work!
Number one : Having a good studying environment "TO LOCK IN"
When you have upcoming exams, we often sometimes need an environment to study and stay focused. Creating a good study environment enhances productivity, boosts focus, and improves retention. You should pick one dedicated studying space in a preferably quiet area, and no this does not include your couch or bed (this is for my bed study enthusiasts). Picking a set spot to sit down and focus, can better help your concentration and productivity when studying, this can include a library or even a quiet coffee shop.
Number two : Create a studying time table (cramming doesn't work for everyone!)
I know some of us are kings and queens of procrastination (I know I am a victim of this as well), but creating a set studying schedule can help us overcome being victims of procrastination. Creating a schedule while spacing your time for studying and resting during this season, can help you feel more prepared as well as less stressed for your exams.
Number three : Try implementing specific studying techniques
There are many studying techniques known to be really effective for studying for an exam. This can include active recall, spaced repetition, mind mapping, practice testing and many more. These numerous study techniques are known to help with content retention, understanding, and memorizing.
Hopefully, some of these tips help some of you to better prepare for your exams coming up. Additionally, our team also has lots of exciting events planned for the coming weeks that you won’t want to miss, including :
