This event features a networking panel filled with professionals who work in the business healthcare field, and is perfect for helping individuals discover possible career paths within the business healthcare industry. This year's theme/topic is digital health innovation.

BHS TALKS
This is a networking event designed to provide students with the opportunity to connect with professionals within the industry, build their network, and learn more about working in both the business and healthcare fields!
BHS & WMN CASE CHALLENGE COLLABORATION
A Business Health Care Society and Women in Management (WMN) collaborative event. This was an intellectually stimulating event where students were grouped and presented with business healthcare-related cases to dissect, strategize, and then present their findings to a panel of judges.
MURDER MYSTERY NIGHT
An evening full of mystery and problem-solving! This murder mystery event is the first social event held by BHS every year. It is a great way for students to meet the executive team and like-minded individuals. This casual event takes the stress away from meeting new people, especially for the first years. This event is one that we would aim to do each year near the end of October.
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
This meeting is dedicated to learning more about the Business Healthcare Society, what we have planned for the year, and who is on the Executive team!
SELL OR CELL: PERSONALITY IN THE WORKPLACE
Sell or Cell is BHS’ annual flagship event. This networking panel is perfect for helping individuals discover possible career paths within the business healthcare industry! Our theme this year is “Personality in the Workplace.” The goal is to make it interactive by adding things such as personality tests and networking. Students will get to hear how different personalities may impact working preferences and career paths from professionals in the industry.
BHS HANDSHAKE
This event was a casual event for members to connect with and get to know other students who are interested in the business healthcare field. Students were able to discuss why and how one another chose this field. They were able to discuss the courses they have taken in the past, or even meet more students that are taking the same courses as them right now!
A DISCUSSION WITH HOSPITAL WORKERS
This event would provide students with an opportunity to hear about experiences of working within a hospital from both business and healthcare aspects. The goal would be to provide students insight into this potential career path. We are hoping to collaborate with a club focused on health sciences such as the uOttawa Interprofessional Health Association (IPHA).
THE ALUMNI EXPERIENCE IN BUSINESS HEALTHCARE
For this event, we will have University of Ottawa alumni share their experiences after graduating. Students would get a realistic idea of potential career paths they may experience after university. We are aiming to find alumni that would speak about the different careers found within the business healthcare field. This event will be held near the end of September 2022.
