BHS X Welbi: Healthcare Management Case Competition

The Business Healthcare Society (BHS) is excited to announce the BHS × Welbi: Healthcare Management Case Competition, an interdisciplinary event designed to bridge the gap between business and healthcare. This year, we’re opening participation to students from universities and colleges across Canada!

The Event
This year’s case competition is in collaboration with Welbi, an organization working to improve the quality of life of older adults by transforming the way senior living communities care for them. We invite participants to tackle one of Welbi's real-world challenges, utilizing business strategies to address pressing issues within the healthcare sector. Teams of 4 will be asked to analyze the problem and develop actionable, evidence-based recommendations, which they will present to a panel of judges from both academia and industry.

The competition is a day-long immersive experience, fostering collaboration, critical thinking, and effective communication. The case will be released one week prior to the event, allowing participants time to conduct research and refine their strategic approach.

BHS is extending invitations to universities and colleges across Canada, offering institutions the opportunity to register teams of four students from business, health sciences, or related disciplines.

Through this initiative, participants will:
